John Kiely currently works as a Senior Lecturer in Elite Performance at the Institute of Coaching and Performance, University of Central Lancashire, UK. Where he supervises Professional doctorate and Ph.D. candidates from a variety of fields, including International and Premier League football, International and Premiership rugby, the NFL, and elite military units.
As a coaching practitioner, John has worked with athletes at IAAF World Championships, Paralympics, Olympics, and with International teams at Rugby and Football World cups.
His key interests, both practically and from a research perspective, relate to training theory and optimizing movement coordination.
