Alright, let me take you on a wild ride through my drinking days. I had a thing for margaritas, they were damn sexy. But let's be real, I didn't just enjoy a casual drink here and there. It was more like a wild mix of alcohol and cocaine, a recipe for chaos.

After long, exhausting days, I'd come home, find some coke in the cupboard, and convince myself that I deserved a few lines. And what's a few lines without a vodka to go with it? Except, it was never just a few lines.

Suddenly, I was alive again, forgetting all my problems and feeling good. I prided myself on being the last one standing at parties, showing off my drinking prowess. I thought it made me strong.

But deep down, I knew it wasn't sustainable. And there came a moment when I realized I was losing control. That's when I walked through the doors of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Sitting in those meetings, I heard people introducing themselves, saying, "Hi, I'm Tom/John/Tracy. And I'm an alcoholic." But when it was my turn, I refused to let that label define me. I said, "Hi, I'm Luke, and I used to have a drinking problem."

You see, I didn't want to give up my power to a label.

In Alcoholics Anonymous, they talk about giving up your power to alcohol, admitting its dominance over you. But I rejected that idea. I refused to let someone else's opinion or a label control me.

I believed in the strength of positive affirmations and taking control of my own mind. I understood that self-love and unconditional acceptance were far more powerful than any addiction.

I surrounded myself with positive energy, nurtured my soul, and rewired my mind for success.

So here's the lesson: Don't let the world dictate who you are or what you can achieve. Take control of your life, surround yourself with the right people, and embrace your true power.

You are not your past, your trauma, or the opinions of others. You are the creator of your dreams, and you have the power to rewire your mind for greatness.

Tune in to this week's episode, and let's rise above the labels and limitations that hold us back.
