EATING TO LOSE WEiGHT

Last Sunday I opened up questions for me to answer over the coming weeks. Here is one of the questions.

Q: How do I eat to lose weight? I eat healthy and I workout 5 days week?

A: First of all I know exactly how you feel. When I started getting serious about my fitness journey there was a 5 year period where I

🍅Ate as healthy as I thought I should
😰Sacrificed A LOT…

Only to look the exact same year after year. It was a nightmare. I was so angry with myself and at the same time so confused. I felt like I was doing everything I should…

So I decided to find a mentor and do exactly what they did. Here are the few things I changed that instantly helped me get results…

1. I started eating breakfast. Every single day I consistently ate breakfast within 30 minutes of waking up. This was to start my metabolism and to fuel my body for the day.
2. After I ate breakfast I continued to eat every 2-3 hours. This kept my metabolism running throughout the entire day.
3. Every time I ate I had a protein source. For my body and goals at the time I made sure I ate between 25-35g of protein in every meal/snack.
4. I drank a gallon of water each day.
5. I slept a minimum of 6 hours every night. Sleep and water play just as big of a role to weight loss as nutrition.

Those 5 things created my first transformation. 3 Months of doing this consistently helped me drop 10% body fat and got abs for the first time in my life at age 25…

If you need a place to start then start with step one. Do it consistently and then move to step two. It is not about being perfect. It is about being better each day/week.
