The pandemic has had significant effects on vulnerable populations, particularly the urban poor, migrant and displaced populations around the world. They have not only been victims of the virus, but lockdowns, travel restrictions and economic downturns have severely impacted their livelihoods. Displaced populations are particularly affected due to their precarious legal and socio-political situations in many cities around the world.
