David Turner is the Coaching Children & Safeguarding Lead at UK Coaching, the region’s lead agency and charity for sports coaching. David co-authored the latest UK Coaching/NSPCC Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop that 25,000 coaches attend annually, and the "First Steps into Coaching" workshop and resource aimed at getting parents from the stands and into coaching. David currently serves as the Lead Throws Coach at Loughborough University.
