The Chicago White Sox had an off-day on Monday and are set to begin a three game series against the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, on the South Side of Chicago. After 128 games, the White Sox are two games under .500 and five games back in the AL Central. This season was supposed to find the White Sox winning their 2nd straight divisional championship and preparing to go deep into the postseason. It's not even September and fans are stuck struggling with the reality of the situation: the Chicago White Sox might very well miss the playoffs this year. How did we get here and who's to blame? What changes need to be made and why should there still be hope moving forward?
