The Chicago White Sox lost to the Kansas City Royals Thursday afternoon by a score of, 5-3. The Sox lost three of four in series to the Royals and find themselves back at .500 and three and half games back in the AL Central. White Sox starter, Dylan Cease, had another brilliant outing. He went six innings and only gave up one run while striking out eight batters. Unfortunately once again, the White Sox offense could not provide any run support. The Sox let 38 year old Zack Greinke and his 90 mph fastball have his way. Sox had 14 hits but only two of them were for extra bases. There is a lack a fire and swagger on this White Sox team but also a lack of hustle. Luis Robert was called out by White Sox color analyst, Steve Stone, during the TV broadcast for not running out a groundball that Kansas City's second baseman bobbled. It's been bad for the White Sox but they return home to face the last place Detroit Tigers.
