Johnny Cueto got his 13th quality start but the Chicago White Sox fell to the Kanas City Royals, 8-3

It was another painful loss for the Chicago White Sox. They fell to the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday night, 8-3. White Sox starter, Johnny Cueto, pitched six innings and gave up only two earned runs which meant he notched his 13th quality start of the season. Cueto has had an impressive season and his teammates gave taken note. Unfortunately for Cueto, the White Sox were not able to provide much run support at all. The only significant offensive opportunity for the Sox came in the 6th inning when Kansas City's second baseman could not handle a ground ball causing two runs to score. White Sox bullpen also had an uncharacteristically bad evening, giving up five runs in two innings. The White Sox go for the series split on Thursday afternoon.
