The Chicago White Sox lost their power and failed to execute with runners in scoring position, falling 3-1 to CLE. It's a tale as old as time, the White Sox have the bases loaded with nobody out and come away empty. Sox were 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position and failed to hit a home run for the first time in the series. Sox starter, Dylan Cease, got into the 7th before being pulled but he pitched well and deserved better. Aside from a lifeless offense, Tim Anderson completely misplayed a routine groundball hit to him at shortstop in the 7th inning. It was a costly mistake and the Sox had no response. White Sox host the Kansas City Royals for a three game series starting on Friday with Michael Kopech on the mound.
