For the second game in a row, the Chicago White Sox beat the Guardians and hit three home runs. Jake Burger, Gavin Sheets and Andrew Vaughn all provided the fireworks. For Burger and Sheets, it was their second game in a row with a home run. The White Sox beat the Guardians by a score of 7-2 on the South Side. The Sox (16-28) got a sharp outing from Mike Clevinger as he faced his former team and the Sox offense once again provided double digit hits. Luis Robert Jr. had a quiet night but the Sox managed to thrive. The White Sox have not been able to sweep a series this season but will try to make that a reality on Thursday afternoon. Sox will send Dylan Cease to mound as he looks to repeat his solid outing from his previous start against the Houston Astros.
