The Chicago White Sox (69-68) beat the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday by a score of 9-6. Sox took two of three from the Mariners and now head to Oakland for a four games series against the Athletics. Seattle Mariners starter, Luis Castillo, struck out the first seven White Sox hitters but the Sox got their revenge in the 6th inning. Sox scored four runs to erase a 4-2 deficit and knocked Castillo out of the game. White Sox designated hitter, Eloy Jimenez, was 3-for-4 with a home run and double along with three RBIs. White Sox starter, Michael Kopech, did not last long but relievers Vince Velasquez and Liam Hendriks made Sox fans forget all about the earlier issues. It was a gutsy, satisfying win against a red hot Seattle Mariners ballclub.
