The Chicago White Sox (68-68) lost to the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday night by a score of 3-0. White Sox offense could not do much with Seattle's pitching. Sox managed just 7 hits and were 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position. Sox only had one extra base hit which was a double by Jose Abreu. White Sox starter, Johnny Cueto, turned in another quality start. He pitched 6 innings and only gave up 1 run. Sox bullpen could not keep it close. Reynaldo Lopez gave up a two run home run in the 8th inning. Before the game, there was a lot of discussion throughout Chicago media regarding the status of Tony La Russa. Several reports indicated that La Russa will be back in the dugout before the season ends. White Sox go for the series win on Wednesday afternoon.
