Lucas Giolito was a disappointment and the Chicago White Sox were blown out by the Houston Astros, 21-5

The Chicago White Sox were embarrassed by the Houston Astros on Thursday afternoon. Sox lost to the Astros by a score of 21-5. White Sox starter, Lucas Giolito, only went three innings in total and gave up seven earned runs. Giolito struggled to locate his pitches and the Astros made him pay. The usually reliable White Sox bullpen gave up ten runs then second baseman, Josh Harrison, pitched the 9th inning and gave up four more runs. Sox offense had multiple opportunities to chip away at Houston's lead but could not string together the hits or capitalize with a home run when needed. The White Sox begin an important three game series Friday night against the Cleveland Guardians with first place in the AL Central on the line.
