The Chicago White Sox beat the Detroit Tigers on Monday night by a score of 9-5. The White Sox had 15 hits and two home runs from Jose Abreu. He had 4 RBIs in the game. White Sox got three hits from Leury Garcia and two hits from AJ Pollock. The White Sox welcomed back Lance Lynn to the rotation. He made his 2022 debut. There was some expected rust as he gave up 3 runs in a little over four innings but it's just nice to have him back in a Sox uniform. A very depleted White Sox bullpen only gave up 2 runs in relief. The Chicago White Sox try to make it two in row on Tuesday as they send Dylan Cease to the mound. Cease is 9-0 lifetime against the Detroit Tigers.
