Johnny Cueto was magnificent in his first start with the White Sox as Chicago beat the Kansas City Royals, 5-3

Who would have ever thought that the jump start the Chicago White Sox needed would come from 36 year old Johnny Cueto? Making his first start with the Sox, Cueto went six innings and gave up zero runs. He mixed things up well and kept it around the plate. Yasmani Grandal finally broke out and hit a big two-run homerun. White Sox reliever, Kendall Graveman, gave up three runs in the 8th inning to allow a tie at three runs a piece. Then, Luis Robert provided the much need power in the 10th inning with a two-run homerun. White Sox closer Liam Hendriks nailed it down for a White Sox winner, 5-3.
