The Chicago White Sox (76-74) lost to the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday by a score of 4-2. The White Sox were swept by the Guardians at home. If the Sox were to have a realistic shot at winning the AL Central this season, they needed to sweep Cleveland during this past three game series. Instead, the White Sox played some of their worst baseball and were out played as well as out managed by the Cleveland Guardians. Will this season provide any shake ups in the front office? Will Kenny Williams and Rick Hahn continue to go about their business like nothing happened? Will Tony La Russa ever come back to manage the White Sox this season or next? This sweep at the hands of Cleveland has provided more questions than answers on the South Side.
