The Chicago White Sox lost to the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday night by a score of 5-3. In the first inning, Eloy Jimenez hit the first White Sox homerun in what felt like forever. It gave the Sox a quick, 2-0 lead but Baltimore answered in their half of the inning by hitting a three run homerun. Sox offense was held in check most of the night despite scattering eleven hits. Once again, the White Sox offense could not get runners home when in scoring position, especially with less than two outs. White Sox starter, Dylan Cease, had essentially one bad inning but that was all it took. It was a night that the White Sox offense would not provide run support. The Sox fall to (62-61) and have lost five of their last six games. Lucas Giolito goes to the mound for the White Sox on Wednesday night in Baltimore.
