At the Winter Meetings Chicago White Sox GM, Rick Hahn, said a lot of things without saying much at all. Are the White Sox looking to trade core players to get younger and set themselves up for success down the road? Maybe. Will the White Sox look to address needs via free agency? Perhaps. When will the White Sox orchestrate a trade to improve the roster? Wait and see. Rick Hahn was guarded in his comments but did seem to give off the impression that the White Sox will be waiting for other moves to occur throughout MLB before they act. What kind of market his Hahn waiting for? If they have a player they are targeting, why not just be proactive and address the need now instead of waiting for a market to hopefully emerge. Liam Hendriks is a player that other teams around baseball have been contacting the White Sox about with regards to a trade. Could Hendriks or even Tim Anderson be on the move this off-season?
