It's the season of hope and the Chicago White Sox are asking fans to be patient as the dust settles. The White Sox have yet to be terribly active at all during this off-season and the MLB Winter Meetings did not produce the excitement Sox fans hoped for. The organization seems to be content on waiting until the perfect deal is laid before them. It sounds like the White Sox are still focused on operating via the trade to get better but there needs to be other things to happen throughout the rest of MLB before the Sox get what they need. Are the White Sox still in their competitive window? If they are, they sure do not act like it. Rick Hahn and the front office are hopeful players bounce back to accustomed levels and stay healthy. Does that strategy separate you from the other American League teams? Also, Pedro Grifol spoke to the media in San Diego and seems to be excited that White Sox players are participating in the World Baseball Classic.
