Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros on Sunday and split the series as they now get ready for the Home Opener. Sox beat Houston 6-3 in the series finale. White Sox got a solid 5 innings from starter Mike Clevinger. Reynaldo Lopez made things interesting in the 9th inning but locked things down for a White Sox winner. Bullpen issues were a theme all series long for the White Sox. Failure to execute with runners in scoring position was also problematic. Yoan Moncada flexed the power on Sunday and had a great series going 8-for-18 with a pair of home runs. Luis Robert broke out in the finale, hitting a double and home run. The Sox failed to score with the bases loaded and nobody out... twice... but all is well that ends well. White Sox head back to the South Side for the Home Opener on Monday against the San Francisco Giants. Michael Kopech takes the hill as the Sox look to keep the momentum going.
