Happy Thursday! The Pittsburgh Penguins are out west for their California trip and they had their first full practice on Thursday as everyone participated in it. Hunter goes over the updates on Tristan Jarry and Jan Rutta as they both appeared to be cleared for full contact. Will one or both be available to them on Friday night? What about Saturday's game against the Kings? Hunter then looks at how this will be the first time the team is fully healthy in close to six weeks as we can all see how good this team is with the entire roster (assuming nobody gets hurt). He then ponders why McGinn and Carter continue to get minutes together, even though the numbers are so bad (and comparable to another winger-center duo from years past). After that, Hunter looks at how the New York Rangers got better with their trade on Thursday and what that means for the Penguins. Do they have what it takes to make a big splash? Should they go all-in with getting Timo Meier? Does Adam Henrique make a good fit if they can get him? Finally, Hunter does a quick look ahead to the meeting against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night as they have been one of the worst teams in the league this season.
