The Pittsburgh Penguins are about to start their West Coast trip and what better way to celebrate that than with a new guest? Hunter welcomes Annie (sweetannieod on Twitter) to the show as she's an avid Ducks watcher. They first touch on what's gone wrong for the team this season before looking at how they've had a decent hot stretch as of late (it's been their first one this season). After that, they get into the trade deadline as the Ducks are expected to be one of the busier teams. Who does Annie thinks will go? She tries to sell Adam Henrique to some of the listeners since he's a bit up there in age before pivoting to Max Comtois as someone who can really help a team's bottom six. She also gets into how nobody saw just how bad this year would be for the Ducks before the two dive into the matchup. Annie gives her keys for the Ducks to pull this one out while Hunter gives his keys for the Penguins to win since they have to bank points during this road trip. It's not a daunting one anymore, especially when two of the teams are among the worst teams in hockey. Finally, the two give their predictions for who will take this one home.
