Between Trayce Jackson-Davis, Grace Berger, IU men's and women's basketball and even the men's soccer and football teams, there were a number of memorable moments for Hoosiers athletics in 2022. Add in some success from the professional Hoosiers like Micah McFadden and Kyle Schwarber and it was another great year to be a Hoosier.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) counts down the top 10 moments of the year for IU athletics. Both McFadden and Schwarber found success in the big leagues while Tom Allen and the football team had an improbable win over Michigan State to start the list.

An improbable run from the soccer team to the national title game that featured a host of shutouts in the tournament was a top-five moment while the men's basketball team's return to the NCAA Tournament with a win over Wyoming was a moment fans will remember from this year.

The show wraps with the top three moments of the year that includes both the women's basketball team and men's basketball teams run through their respective Big Ten tournaments. Nothing tops Rob Phinisee's heroic night over Purdue as the top moment of the year.
