It may have only been an exhibition game on Thursday, but Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau look ready to be big contributors for Indiana Hoosiers basketball. IU won big against Saint Francis with Trayce Jackson-Davis returning and Xavier Johnson returning to form.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) recaps the Hoosiers second and final scrimmage in which they won handily. IU's two freshmen look ready to make really big impacts from the get-go this season as each look comfortable on the court.
Strong play from IU's bench of Tamar Bates, Trey Galloway and Jordan Geronimo could spell good things for the Hoosiers' season. As expected, IU's bench could be deep this season and Thursday was another example of that.
The show wraps by previewing the IU women's basketball team's first and only exhibition on Friday. With a new-look roster, the focus will be on IU's new-look offense and how different it may look.
