The Indiana Hoosiers football team is coming out of their bye week looking for an upset of the Penn State Nittany Lions. However, it'll be a tall, tall task coming up against one of the best teams in the Big Ten Conference.
On today's bonus episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) is joined by Zach Seyko (@zach_seyko) for a special crossover episode to preview the IU-Penn State game. The Hoosiers are coming up against not just a talented offense led by super duper senior Sean Clifford but a defense ready to feast.
IU's tough challenge in this one is also going to stem from the fact that their starting QB is unknown heading into the game. After being the sole quarterback under center, Connor Bazelak could be supplanted by Dexter Williams.
The show wraps by looking at some keys to the game, including whether the Hoosiers are going to be able to block effectively to protect whoever their QB is. Penn State, though, will be looking to take advantage of an underperforming secondary.
