After another dismal display from the offensive line in Saturday's loss to the Michigan Wolverines, Tom Allen parted ways with Indiana Hoosiers football OL coach Darren Hiller on Sunday afternoon. It was a surprising mid-season move but one that could spark IU in the heart of Big Ten Conference play.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) reacts to the news of Hiller's firing and what it means for the Hoosiers moving forward. It's a step in the right direction for Allen and IU but still does not address all the issues that led to their loss to Michigan.
There were a number of non-OL takeaways from the game on Saturday. Walt Bell tried to adapt the offense to the limitations IU faces and did so wonderfully in the first half before failing to counter in the second half.
