The Indiana Hoosiers basketball team has another chance to prove itself on a national stage on Saturday when they travel to Las Vegas to meet the Arizona Wildcats. In a season where IU needs to continually prove itself, this is the latest and perhaps biggest chance to do so.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) previews that showdown that will see two of the best frontcourts in the nation do battle. Trayce Jackson-Davis and Race Thompson will go toe-to-toe with Azuolas Tubelis and Oumar Ballo.
The women's basketball team escaped disaster on the road on Thursday as the stayed unbeaten against Penn State. After a sloppy first half, the Hoosiers righted the ship in the second half and Mackenzie Holmes led the way to a victory.
The show wraps by previewing the College Cup showdown between IU and Pittsburgh. The contest will be a rematch of the semi-final 18 months ago as IU looks for it's ninth national title.
