There’s an immense amount of pressure on TC Taylor and Jackson State to continue their winning ways. TSU primary priority should be finding a defensive identity. Helping Andrew Body and the passing attack is secondary.

There’s an immense amount of pressure on TC Taylor and Jackson State to continue their winning ways. With Taylor being the coach, he is the face of the team. All of the pressure on JSU now falls on him. JSU’s new offensive scheme puts an emphasis on the tight end position. Whoever wins the QB battle should expect to target the TEs heavily.

Texas Southern’s primary priority should be finding a defensive identity. Helping Andrew Body and the passing attack is secondary. The defense had an opportunistic secondary last year but that isn’t enough this year. They need to either be good at stopping the run or stopping the pass. Both of them require the defensive line to improve.
