North Carolina Central expanding their passing attack with Davius Richard intrigues me. The Eagles have an extremely balanced offense, but I think they would be a high level passing team with more volume. They’ve added a new transfer tight end and they have some younger players stepping into bigger roles. Their success rushing and the MEAC being a running conference could limit the Eagles desire to expand.

FAMU chooses to draft their spring game rosters, instead of the traditional starters vs starters. I’m not quite sure if I like it, so let’s look at the pros and cons.

Howard needs to focus on fine tuning this spring. They were close to winning the MEAC last season. For that reason, the Bison just need to build on last season. Most of their squad returns, Howard should just continue on their path.
