Jerry Rice had absolutely no interest in coaching until he saw Deion Sanders and what he did at Jackson State. Now the thought has crossed his mind. May seem like a small story, and I understand why you'd say that, but I'm here to tell you it is not a small story. All it takes is to dig slightly deeper to see how the story can grow and the possible ramifications of it.

Morgan State kicked off their track season with the HBCU showcase. They landed first place in this showcase, tying with Howard at 132 points. Morgan State found their greatest success on the track with the 200m. They were able to score gold in the individual and relay events along with another medal and another sprinter scoring points. That along with the shot put, where they won gold and silver, were the crown jewel of their performance.

COVID is ravaging the MEAC basketball season. As a conference with limited schools, the postponements are really taking a toll. It's made it to where games are barely getting played. I understand it's not completely their fault. COVID happens. I can discuss their seemingly lack of handling it.
