The NFL Draft starts today, and the big question is how many HBCU players get drafted this year? The list is headlined by Markquese Bell and Joshua Williams among others, but there are many more possible draft candidates. I split the prospects up into 3 categories: I feel confident, I could see it, and longshots.
Gerald Huggins joins to show to discuss what makes Markquese Bell the top prospect on our list. Bell showcased his ability close to the line of scrimmage this year but he is more than capable as a deep safety as well. According to Huggins, Bell will be the first HBCU player off the board.
