Jackson State’s loss is allowing some to object to the crowned HBCU champions, South Carolina State. Now other schools are claiming fame. Namely, Bowie State is being pushed as the real champions. I am not in agreement. I have a couple of reasons why and would love to know if you agree.

Ric Garni from 11 Alive in Atlanta joins the show to discuss Travis Hunter’s signing day. He details the buzz from before the announcement and also what came after. In Garni’s interview with Hunter, Hunter spoke about how much Deion Sanders and going to an HBCU meant to him. This obviously was something that stuck with him through his recruiting process.

We wrap up the show discussing Savannah State Women’s Basketball team’s hot start. They’ve rattled off 9 straight victories to start the season, including some SIAC games. Some have been close and some have been blowouts. I give the circumstances, what has made them great, and my favorite stretch of games.
