Jeff Lightsy joins the show to discuss the statement he made earlier this week that caused some controversy. He says every team in the SWAC is comparing themselves to Jackson State, and he isn’t backing down.

Dr. Kiki Baker Barnes is the new Gulf Coast Athletic Conference commissioner. She’s been the interim commissioner for the conference since 2019. At the same time, she was also the athletic director for Dillard University. Moving into a full time role, she is the first black woman to be the GCAC commissioner, first woman period, and first black woman to be a commissioner in the NAIA ranks.
