Mo Carter from FOX54 in Huntsville, Alabama discusses the idea of HBCUs moving to the FBS level after Deion Sanders mentioned it at the XFL showcase. He mentions the SWAC attempting to move up as a conference and what schools could move up individually.

The XFL showcase was a great event whose success is still to be determined. It was another step forward for a league who has shown itself to be progressive. The league has held showcases dedicated to HBCUs and Polynesian players.

The SWAC media day attendees have been announced. Some schools are bringing in QBs that put an end to QB battles while some are not ending the questions. Coach Sanders says Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are the only players guaranteed a starting spot, and they are the 2 players invited to media day. Other teams tell us what they’re identity will be.
