BYU Basketball Proves Their Mettle With UCF Win & Now Eye Texas Tech Payback

The BYU Cougars beat the UCF Knights 87-73 in the second round of the Big 12 Tournament in the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City Wednesday afternoon and Jake Hatch was pleased with what the BYU men's basketball program showed as they fended off a hard-nosed UCF squad and proved they have learned from their previous failures.

Jake then took some time to preview the quarterfinal match up for Brigham Young University as they will take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders Thursday morning and Jake believes the matchup against Texas Tech favors BYU basketball's preferred style of play along with Mark Pope, Jaxson Robinson and company wanting to exact some revenge on the Red Raiders.

Finally, the show wrapped up with Jake's observations from BYU football practice as Kalani Sitake's program completed their sixth of 15 practices in BYU's spring camp period and Jake highlighted the quarterback battle between Jake Retzlaff and Gerry Bohanon along with standout showings from Keanu Hill, Chase Roberts and Miles Davis, among others.
