The Colorado Avalanche played two games since our last recording. One against the Carolina Hurricanes (which Chris was in attendance for) and the other against the Washington Capitals.

In Carolina, the Avalanche couldn't get anything going against the Hurricanes but somehow, someway pulled out a victory in OT, 3-2.

In Washington, the Avalanche played their most complete game of the season, which also happened to be their first shutout of the season, in defeating the Capitals 4-0.

We look at both games and discuss how this is similar to last year's Avs team who just found ways to win.

Plus, the Avalanche play four games this week, two against the division leading Dallas Stars. How this week of games is a very important week for the Avs.

Also, we discuss if Nathan MacKinnon should keep taking face-offs. Because...he hasn't been very good at them.
