Cale Makar did something you almost never see in the midst of a sports event. He told a ref, who thought Makar was tripped and was about to call a penalty, that he was in fact not tripped and to waive it off. Then you saw something else you almost never see, the ref obliged.

Cale Makar was called "arrogant" by a New York Post reporter last week. But this is hardly the actions of an arrogant man. Why is what Makar did being talked about so much? Shouldn't we expect this from our athletes regularly? Or should we just accept that bad calls are going to happen, and sometimes our teams benefit from them and sometimes they don't?

We also take a look at the play of J.T. Compher who, in a contract year, is playing more consistently than in previous regular seasons. Should he command more in his next deal? Can the Avalanche afford to do so?

All that and more! Tune in and subscribe!
