NHLPA Makes Statement on Comments Towards Kadri. Perron Fined For Cross-Check. Was That Enough?

The NHLPA came out and issued a statement regarding the comments of the St. Louis Blues fan base towards Nazem Kadri and his family. It's what you would expect from a sports league or a players union. It's also what you would expect from individual teams. Which is why it remains shocking that the St. Louis Blues, as of this recording, have yet to make a sound about what their fans are saying to Kadri. It's shameful.

David Perron was fined $5k for his cross-check hit on Kadri, but nothing beyond that, One could argue there could have been two more fines coming the way of Perron for his attempt to connect his elbow to Kadri's head after a Kadri goal, and for spear on Devon Toews.

The Avalanche will look to shut the door on the Blues season tonight in Denver and get beyond that dreaded second round. Will there be any changes to the lineup. Chris and Kyle don't think so.
