This is what makes sports so great. Nazem Kadri had a rough 24 hour period, where the worst of the worst emerged to sit down at their keyboards and throw horrible racists comments towards Kadri, blaming him as the reason Jordan Binnington will miss the rest of the 2nd Round. Kadri waited for his chance to respond and that response came on the ice where finished with a four point night including a hat trick. A lot still needs to be done off the ice to curb the people who feel they have the right to say these things towards an athlete, and a human being. But on the ice, at least for last night, it was Kadri's night.
Kadri helped his Colorado Avalanche to a 6-3 win over the St. Louis Blues and now take a commanding 3-1 lead back to Denver to try and finish off the Blues and get the Avalanche out of the dreaded 2nd round. Right now, things are looking great for the Avs, but nobody is taking this for granted. We can assure you of that.
