Nathan MacKinnon Lifts Avalanche to a 6-2 Win With Another Four Goal, Five Point Night

Nathan MacKinnon is starting to pour the mixture of what will soon become the concrete that will cement his eventual Hart Trophy at the end of this season.

Five points, four goals and a natural hat trick was the stat line for the Colorado Avalanche superstar, and it seemed like if he wanted to he could have had more. The best player on the planet couldn't be stopped against the Washington Capitals, and some of his teammates joined in on the action as well.

Not to be outdone, Mikko Rantanen also had himself a five point night and Cale Makar pitched in with three of his own.

Three guys, 13 points. When the Avs top guys are producing like that, good luck.
