We knew the Nashville Predators were going to be without several players due to them being entered into the leagues COVID protocol. What we did not expect was Colorado Avalanche players added to the list as well minutes prior to the game.
The Avalanche announced earlier in the day that J.T. Compher and Andre Burakovski were added to the list, then shortly before the game was set to begin we found out Darcy Kuemper and Cale Makar were on it as well.
So the Avs were going into a game without a lot of firepower, and it showed.
The Avs could never get on the same page and Nashville took advantage of that along with solid goaltending by Juuse Saros.
Friday is an off day and it will be one to watch to see if any or all of the players added to the list can come off of it and take part in a big matchup on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
