This week we continue a series looking at Ephesians Chapter 4 from a renewed, grace based perspective. Initially, we continue to discuss the ministry gifts of Jesus to the church. Then we discuss the first part of the Chapter where Paul lays out his theological perspective: one God – the Father – who is over all, above all, through all, and in all; one Lord Jesus; one Spirit; one living faith; one grace – given to each of us in full measure according to the Anointed’ s gift; and one ceremonial washing through baptism. This theological perspective is what Paul says those whom he describes later as gifts from Jesus should be teaching.
