360Karma’s Live Live Thrive Show guests this week are Crissi Avila, Marilu Guevara, and Courtney Cowan discussing “Why women need to vote and fabulous female entrepreneurs!”   Crissi Avila is the 2nd Vice President and Development Chair of the Board of the League of Women Voters, Los Angeles, a non-partisan political organization, which encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Marilu Guevara is the Executive Director of the League of Women Voters, Los Angeles, responsible for promoting the organizational vision of the League, donor development, strategic planning, civic engagement programs, communications, community leadership and public relations. Courtney Cowan is the owner and founder of Milk Jar Cookies. She opened her first brick and mortar shop in the spring of 2013, and has since expanded to include an offsite shipping and delivery kitchen. In the spring of 2017, she partnered with Williams Sonoma to develop a line of baking mixes based on her cookies, which are currently available nationwide.
