Kim is a survivor, and a thriver, of child sexual abuse.
She’s been married for 30 years, is a Mom to three grown children, and a grandma to five, beautiful grandchildren.
Because of her own story, Kim has been an advocate for children for over 30 years.
A few years ago, she became a Certified Trainer and Authorized Facilitator for child sex abuse prevention through Darkness to Light, Stewards of Children. Kim is also an Authorized Facilitator for the Monique Burr Foundation for Children.
She is on several boards, bringing her knowledge of protection to many communities and churches.
Kim’s hope is to make a difference in how communities talk and act, when it comes to sexual abuse prevention. It is the continued “secret” that keeps it going. We Can Stop It!!
