As we get older, we can’t help but feel like our best days are perhaps behind us, but is that really true? Today I want to encourage you to leave the past behind, reimagine the future, reinvent yourself, and create a fresh start because your best days are ahead of you!



I used to be a pretty good athlete, playing all the 3 big sports of baseball, basketball and football really well. I won many awards. And while I still play softball now in my adult life, my skills are nowhere near where they used to be, and that’s okay.



When we were all in high school, the popular guy was always earmarked to be the most successful - yet very often, that doesn't become the reality. If you think the best years of your life were in high school, that’s not a great place to be. Because living in the past or trying to relive past moments over and over again just keeps you from living your current reality AND your future.



You need to make peace with the days that have passed. Consider the possibilities of having your best days ahead of you instead. You have the opportunity to continue to grow, to learn, to reinvent yourself, and to reimagine the future. 



Remember, your best days are ahead of you. So, leave the past behind and make new memories. Create a fresh start for yourself by chasing new opportunities that lie ahead.
