Self-care has been talked about a lot but despite it being overdone, I don’t think that many people understand it and that includes me. Instagram kholo to koi face pack lagake baitha hoga aur kahega- today is my self care day, you should do it too. Kisine meditation ke baare mei likha hoga ki if you don’t meditate you are missing out. To koi mental health break leke baitha hoga kisi cheez se.

I am not trying to belittle any of these things but kya self-care sirf yahi hai or alternatively, do these things even count as self-care? In this episode, you will get clarity about this. I am talking to Dr. Ipsita Chatterjee who is a consultant psychologist and the founder of Thehraav- unwind your mind. Thehraav works with individuals, couples and families in therapy.

Ipsita will tell us-

-What is self-care

-Where did the term come from (you might be surprised)

-Layers of self-care

-Do beauty treatments count as self care

-How to take care of our mental health
