140: Amen

What do you feel after you utter that word? 

Do you feel like you have just ended a powerful interaction with your Creator? And that you are coming away strengthened, with instructions to follow, and with a heart filled with more courage - and peace?  

The Bible Dictionary in the Latter-day Saint edition of the King James Version of the Bible defines prayer as “the act by which the will of the Father and the will of the child are brought into correspondence with each other. The object of prayer is not to change the will of God, but to secure for ourselves and for others blessings that God is already willing to grant, but that are made conditional on our asking for them.”

Elder Holland stated, “We are at war…*” , so, for our protection and that of those around us, we need to pray like warriors pray! In this week’s episode, Karen, Marquelle, Kellie and Roslyn discuss the “Warrior Prayer”, and how it helps us approach prayer from that perspective - to help us fight our daily battles - and win. Warrior prayers also help us to bring our will into correspondence with God’s, and to “secure for ourselves and others the blessings that He is already willing to grant...” 

A Warrior Prayer is unique because it is specific, and we are seeking with the express intent to follow whatever inspiration we receive in answer to that prayer. 

Come learn how to pray like a warrior,  and to have your prayers become a way to access the power and peace that Heaven has promised us all along.
