Are you always looking for delicious, but healthy treats to add to your lifestyle?  Jessica and I taste a product called G-Butter.  It's a low-sugar, high protein, gluten-free, low carbohydrate nut butter that can be cooked up to resemble a warm and delicious treat in less than 30 seconds in a microwave.  We also taste a chocolate ghee that is comparable to Nutella or chocolate icing.

Here's the skinny on what we tried:

G-Butter flavors were "Brownie Batter," "Cookie Dough," "Peanut Butter Cup," and "Red Velvet Icing.  The base of what's in the 12 oz. jar is cashews and/or peanuts, almonds.  There is also whey protein in it to kick up the protein content of the nut butter, and they contain no artificial colors or additives.  The sweeteners are primarily Stevia with two other "sugar-free" sweeteners.  If you want to know more about the product and get recipe ideas, go to their website at www.gbutter.com, or visit their social media pages on Instagram and Facebook.

The chocolate ghee is made by Fourth and Heart, a company that offers an entire line of various ghee options and flavors.  Ghee is a great butter alternative for those who are lactose intolerant, and it has made a huge impact on the health and wellness industry.  It's much easier to find ghee in your local grocery store and health food mart nowadays.  For more information about this product, visit www.fourthandheart.com.

We hope you enjoy this segment as we break down the good, the bad, and the not-so-tasty on these healthy alternatives to your typical brownie or cookie.
