So many Womxn through history have made great impacts without being celebrated. At LifeCope we want to celebrate the less known figures that gave us so much!

In today's Episode we are discussing the great impacts San Francisco born archaeologist Zelia Nuttall had in the way we view Mesoamerican history. Thru a journey of trying to find connection to her Mexican roots she revived and brought back to life Aztec celebrations that hadn't been celebrated in over 400 years. She dismantled the Europeans belief of the native people being blood thirsty savages and instead thru archeology and research showed the world the greatness of the Aztec people. Now on average 1.9 million people visit the Native city of Teotihuacan. This might of never been possible had it not been for the incredible work Zelia Nuttall did to change the European narrative.
