Ela Graves has lived in or near Órgiva, in Las Alpujarras, for over 38 years and her family has been here for four generations. Ela teaches English and works as an official translator in the Spanish Court system, and she forms part of the Orgiva Consciente that organises events for all forms of Consciousness.
Ela was the first woman to be seen riding a motorbike in Las Alpujarras, she sold Chris Stewart his property and is one of the Grandchildren of the author and poet Robert Graves.
